QUALITY CONTROL – LABORATORIES
The safety of our manufacturing procedures is tested with continuous analyses, which are performed in high technology laboratories. On a monthly basis, 6300 microbiological and 4000 physical-chemical tests are performed in our laboratories.
FOOD SAFETY
To ensure food safety, the Company has a HACCP system in place (Analysis of Critical Control Points). This certification includes programs such as SSOP’S – Standard Sanitary Operating Procedure and
GMP – Good Manufacturing Practices.
Used in the Mio Modo readymade line of products that are stable at room temperature, the “retortable products” technology (thermally sterilized products) is approved by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and meets the needs of the North American and European markets, among others.
Another point that deserves to be highlighted is the fact that the Company is a pioneer producer of Beef Jerky in Brazil and its facilities, programs and products are certified by relevant agencies.
